Operations Research Analyst

Dynamic Signal is a 100 people startup in Silicon Valley that helps companies communicate with employees. We make a platform that delivers information to employees on various platforms (web, email, mobile app, etc) in order to keep them engaged and informed. We also empower employees to easily share company approved content on social media, transforming them into experts, advocates, and contributors. Duties:

Assess new and existing product features through a mix of user research and data analysis of key product metrics to continuously improve user acquisition and engagement. Interact with external customers and prospects to understand the market, recognize opportunities and risks, address operational needs. Collaborate with company stakeholders, including sales, customer success, and upper management to identify feature requests. Maintain a backlog of features, prioritize them accordingly in line with the company’s strategic objectives and customer impact, and adapt quickly as new conditions arise. Develop an understanding of the existing product and recognize the implications of a proposed enhancement or change. Determine the product’s UX and functionality via mockups, user stories, and functional specifications. Develop wireframes and collaborate with designers and other members of the product team. Work directly with engineers to ensure that the feature is implemented according to requirements and make decisions during development. Work with QA to solve problems and resolve uncertainties in requirements documentation. Participate in all aspects of the product development cycle, including daily scrums, QA, bug triage, and releases.

Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or related field. 3 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.

Special Requirements:

Experience with the following: writing specs/user stories and creating wireframes; conducting both qualitative and quantitative usability research; project management, internet marketing and social media; consuming third party APIs, developing products with deep integrations into social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube) and developing products with iOS and Android mobile applications.
