Russ Fradin Discusses How To Overcome Social Media Anxiety in SpinSucks

By

Dynamic Signal CEO recently wrote a byline for SpinSucks about the very real issue of social media anxiety.  Everybody has colleagues that are not very engaged on social media. This article discusses the fact that, while not everyone needs to be actively engaged on social media, it’s crucial for anyone in communications, marketing, or public relations to have an online voice and an audience. PR people, in particular, should be developing relationships with journalists on Twitter, and spreading client news across their social media channels as a best practice.

Russ outlines a few best practices for helping your employees overcome social media sharing anxiety.  They include establishing a working social media policy, employee enablement, devising a strategy for what can and can’t be shared by employees on social media, and the need for this strategy to be 100% opt-in only so that no employees feel pressured to do something out of their comfort zone.
