Hitachi Data Systems Drives 53% Share of Voice (its highest ever!) with Dynamic Signal Employee Hub

Our most recent collaboration with HDS is their employee powered news hub, an all-in-one virtual newsroom collated by Hitachi Data Systems. The News Hub is designed to provide timely and relevant information to the company’s audience and employees. They frequently distribute top news, information about key events, thought leadership, blog posts, product announcements, and more.

Their most recent campaign, “Defining Moments” was an aggressive 24 hour socially driven effort to support the launch of their new virtual-storage platform, the VSP G1000.

“We had a huge social presence, supported through a social-content plan, a social campaign and social-media strategy to get out the buzz,” said Sharon Crost, Senior Social Business Lead at Hitachi Data Systems

In this recent AdAge feature Ms. Crost details more information about the campaign, their partnership with Dynamic Signal, and the best practices in combining events, social and content to increase buzz around a product launch. Most notably, the campaign drove a 53% share of voice during the 24 hour launch period, dominating the social conversation surrounding their targeted key words. By the end of the day, HDS’ share of voice, defined as share of mentions in social conversations tied to specific key words, was larger than that of not just a single competitor, but of all three major competitors combined.
