Every Monday a group of marketing and PR professionals called “The Social CMO” host a Twitter chat (#MMchat) where they feature a guest (usually a leading executive) and topic in the social/digital marketing realm. Last night, Amber Armstrong, Marketing Social Business Program Director for IBM, was the guest and the topic was Employee Advocacy for Social ROI.
A flurry of excellent questions and topics were discussed throughout the event, and we were excited to see Dynamic Signal mentioned a number of times by Amber and her colleagues.
Most notably, were the results mentioned from IBM Social Business program. As you can see from the Tweet below, the advocates drove five times the number of visits for the month of July versus organic traffic. This speaks volumes towards the authentic nature of advocate powered content and the great success we are seeing IBM have utilizing the Dynamic Signal platform.
In addition to social ROI, other key topics included rewards and recognition, gamification, training, content and social media guidelines.
Huge thanks to Amber, her IBM team and everyone who participated in the #MMChat. It was an insightful discussion and touched on a lot of key areas within employee advocacy. Here’s a few more Tweets that stood out to us.

A7: I don't know how it would be possible without technology enablers like dynamic signal, hootsuite, etc! #MMChat
