This is exciting news for every Salesforce.com customer, user and overall, the Employee Advocacy category as a whole. This tight integration enables any Salesforce.com customer and new and existing Dynamic Signal customer using VoiceStorm to seamlessly manage their program from within Salesforce.com and through the mobile Salesforce1 Platform. A few years back, Salesforce re-envisioned their long term strategy and rebuilt their platform & services under the Salesforce1 Mobile Platform and Framework. Throughout much of 2013 and this entire year, Marc Benioff and many other Salesforce.com execs have flown around the world evangelizing the future about “running your business on your phone”. We couldn’t agree more with this vision as we believe the concept of running your business on your phone is here now. It will continue to be the center of our values and innovation as a company and platform. With the upcoming Dreamforce 2014, it will be exciting to see more news on this front.
With the integration, we will enable the ability for the creation, submission, and distribution of new content by any administrator directly to their team’s Chatter feed inside Salesforce.com. As an employee, and user of Salesforce1, they will have the ability to connect social channels, comment, and share the content from within Chatter. This makes for an incredibly user friendly experience and provides companies even more options to empower their employees to be a critical marketing voice. Employees will no longer have to navigate to a separate application, or create another login/password since their unique Salesforce.com now gives them access, thus increasing usage, engagement and results.
Speaking of results, program administrators can also view and track activity from with the app. Total shares, clicks, social reactions (likes, comments, re-tweets, etc.) and impressions are all available. Keeping tabs on your employee advocates has never been easier.
