Altimeter Group Unveils New Study on Employee Engagement

Altimeter Group Unveils New Study on Employee Engagement [Webinar on Demand]

Altimeter Group, a leading research firm in the digital marketing space, recently published an informative study on employee engagement entitled Strengthening Employee Relationships in the Digital Era. Just last week during a live webinar both Charlene Li, Founder and CEO of Altimeter, and Jon Cifuentes, Senior Researcher, discussed the survey in detail.

The study (and the accompanying webinar) dives deep into the close ties between employee engagement and advocacy, two themes which we are obviously passionate about as well. Empowerment is also a strong topic throughout, including a section entitled “Support Employee Empowerment With a Culture of Content.” Best practices of content sharing, creation and the tools needed to achieve success are outlined — including mentions of Dynamic Signal as an external “Content & Engagement Management” solution.

Employee Advocacy is defined in the report as: Employees posting about company activities and news on their personal social media accounts

  • Endorse the organization as a great place to work & refer job opportunities to their social networks
  • Amplify key organizational initiatives, e.g., sustainability, innovation, or new product launches
  • Usually led by HR, Marketing, Digital/Social

If you are a brand marketer curious about the evolving trends of employee engagement and advocacy strategies I encourage you to spend some time with the report and watch the webinar, as they are both excellent.
