Dynamic Signal and GDPR
Some of us remember living through the Y2K madness. The Millennium Bug was supposed to create havoc with computer networks around the globe. But January 1, 2000 came and went. Digital Armageddon never happened.
Now, we’re starting to see the same kind of questions, apprehension, and even a little panic with another date, May 25 – GDPR Day.
This time, there’s good reason to believe the impact will be real, not just hype. The new European Union rules known as General Data Protection Regulation are designed to give individuals more control over their personal data. Companies face stiff penalties for not complying.
So, we’re seeing a mad scramble by organizations to meet the looming deadline. But at Dynamic Signal, we don’t scramble.
We plan and comply.
Over the last year, we’ve been carefully preparing to ensure that our platform will be GDPR-compliant. It’s why our customers can be confident that the employee communication we process for them will meet the data privacy requirements of GDPR.
In fact, our platform is GDPR-ready for everyone, not just those who fall under EU jurisdiction. After all, there are no borders in the cloud.
You see, there is peace of mind that comes from working with an industry-leading technology partner.
We’ve all seen in recent weeks how change can happen with incredible speed. There were significant adjustments made to the Twitter platform, and then to Instagram. Now we have GDPR. Each time, we’ve seamlessly adapted the Dynamic Signal platform.
And rest assured, there will be something else soon. This is especially the case at a time when both businesses and governments are struggling to find a balance between personal data privacy and the realities of the modern digital world. The line keeps moving.
Our role is to remain focused on making sure we always conform to this changing landscape and stay in compliance with all legal and platform policies. That’s what customers expect from a trusted vendor.
