Director of Revenue

Dynamic Signal is looking for a Director of Revenue Operations who will lead and manage our order to cash cycle, including the global revenue operations, revenue accounting, and deal desk.   If you have a broad understanding of enterprise sales, are a technical revenue accounting expert, and passionate, attentive, collaborative, curious and want to be challenged, join our amazing team in an awesome company!

Responsibilities:

  • Build a world class revenue operations structure to help meet and align with broader company goals
  • Own all aspects of day-to-day order to cash operation, including deal review, order management, billing, collection, sales taxes, and month end close
  • Lead the adoption, oversee integration and compliance of revenue recognition under US GAAP ASC 606
  • Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies, procedures, with considerations of SOX internal controls
  • Build and lead global deal desk and partner cross-functionally to develop and execute a world-class contract review and approval process.  Streamline and optimize deal creation process
  • Actively participate with sales, legal, and sales operations to review contracts for proper revenue recognition
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships cross functionally
  • Manage and develop a successful revenue accounting and operation team

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 10 years of revenue accounting and revenue operations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA must
  • Strong and detailed ASC 606 knowledge relating to SaaS and multiple element arrangements.  Prior ASC 606 adoption experience strongly preferred
  • Strong business acumen and build meaningful cross functional business relationships
  • Minimum 5 years Big 4 experience
  • Prior SaaS/Software industry experience required.
  • Prior experience utilizing NetSuite, Avalara, revenue automation tools desired
