Engagement Manager (Remote)

The Engagement Manager (EM) is the primary intermediary between Dynamic Signal and the client and serves as the overall project manager. The Engagement Manager has a wider focus than just project management also gaining client approval on all project components, leading customer meetings, managing the budget and managing project objectives.  The EM cultivates and maintains client relationships by keeping them updated and involved in the project.  Engagement Managers regularly meet with clients in-person or over the phone to review the project status and ensure that expectations are met.  This role requires an excellent communicator who is also easily adaptable, a strong team player, exceptionally well-organized, with strong presentation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Overall project governance and success including management of Dynamic Signal activities and deliverables
  • Lead teams of business and technical consultants for complex implementations
  • Coordination of implementation tasks and develop activities
  • Ensure projects are well-planned, executed efficiently, and delivered with high quality.
  • Develop repeatable assets such as methodologies, tools, templates
  • Manage a number of engagements concurrently
  • Manage and maintain project information, including feature definition scope, epic and scrum planning.
  • Active solicitation of feedback on process improvements and dissemination of feedback internally
  • Infrastructure and platform oversight including escalation of product issues
  • Coordination with Product Management and Engineering if needed
  • Interface to DevOps

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Owning implementations of enterprise-scale SaaS applications and platforms, experience with comparable communications platforms a plus
  • At least 10 years of progressive project management experience
  • Ability to develop meaningful trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and development skills
  • Excellent skills in all aspects of planning, cross-group collaboration, communications, follow-up, and attention to detail in partner communications
  • Excitement for solving tough problems and developing new practice areas
  • Strong writing skills and communication ability
  • Passion and proven record for execution with measurable results
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, innovation, and the ability to motivate and inspire cross group/functional teams with a high-degree of independence and success
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, navigate uncertain situations, and drive for clarity
  • Kimble PSA knowledge (or similar tools), JIRA/Confluence is a plus
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
  • MBA a plus
