Manager, Product Marketing

Job Summary:

We are looking for an compelling product storyteller and strategist who can understand market segments and their specific business drivers specifically to create vertical specific offerings. This product marketer will package and communicate our product in a compelling, succinct, and authentic manner relevant to the industries we are targeting. You will join a stellar, agile marketing team that brings new products & services to market, drives competitive intelligence and positioning, analyzes opportunities, and influences go-to-market tactics.  You possess a record of success in rapidly evolving environments and grace in collaborating with multiple stakeholders to get stuff done. You savor measuring the impact of your work.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create short and long-term strategy to maximize industry specific offerings and end-user adoption of Dynamic Signal’s Platform
  • Drive messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for manufacturing/industrial vertical
  • Analyze and identify ideal prospects within the manufacturing/industrial vertical worldwide
  • Further develop buyer personas and the buyer/customer lifecycle research, based on specific vertical requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and ensure relevance of messaging and segmentation. Build strong vertical insights on relevant analysts, thought leaders, industry associations, key industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Work with the sales and sales enablement teams to execute a sales readiness plan for vertical messaging and positioning and as support to buyer journey management. Develop solution decks, case studies, business case ROI and continuous field enablement
  • Drive go-to-market efforts for new verticals
  • Work on target account profiling in cooperation with Sales leadership and further develop analytics and reporting to measure impact of vertical marketing approach.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to small & large groups about our products & solutions
  • Develop demo videos and other visual materials
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing, Customer Marketing, Communications and Content to maximize the impact of product innovations and to maintain a compelling and consistent market voice
  • Deeply understand our products, buyers, competition, and markets
  • Represent the company and the product to prospects, customers and analysts
  • Develop competitive strategies and playbooks
  • Partner with our sales team to win opportunities
  • Manage Product Marketing Associates
  • Work with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Management to help prioritize market needs, product roadmaps, and investment to achieve and exceed business goals

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years management consulting or post-MBA product marketing
  • College graduate, MBA desirable
  • Highly skilled at critical decision-making; ability to evaluate business issues and resolve problems
  • Independently driven
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering messaging and materials that drive pipeline, higher win rates, and revenue
  • Highly effective presentation skills to large audiences and potential customers
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work across organizational lines, command respect, and influence without authority
  • Experience conducting and analyzing market and competitive research
  • Must be able to thrive in a highly dynamic, flexible work environment, and switch rapidly from strategy to execution
  • Travel will be required (10%-20%)
