Senior Accounting Manager

To be a team leader in the financial statements of EMEA.  Help manage EMEA day to day accounting, payroll, and FP&A activities. Ensure EMEA month end is closed in line with corporate deadlines.   Ensure a high level of Compliance with US GAAP, SOX and local laws.  Additionally, support global operations by managing worldwide Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.  Hire, train, evaluate, lead and develop a team of 3 qualified accountants/analysts.

  • General accounting (UK)
    • Manage and support month-end, year-end journal entries and reconciliation process for the UK entity.
    • Coordinate with external auditor and tax advisor and manage annual statutory UK audit and corporate tax return.
    • Manage quarterly VAT tax return filings and other local statutory tax filings.
  • Payroll (UK)
    • Manage daily payroll department operations to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely for EMEA offices
    • Understand proper taxation and deduction for compliance with the UK regulations.
    • Manage payroll tax returns and other statutory compliance activities for UK.
  • Accounts Receivable (Worldwide)
    • Manage daily activities of the AR department to meet department goals, which includes timely and accurate recording and reporting of cash, billing and collection
  • Monitor and compile billing and AR aging report and work with cross functional teams and customers on collections
  • Accounts Payable (Worldwide)
    • Responsible for full cycle worldwide accounts payable functions, including invoice & vendor contract review, coding, securing of approvals, purchase order creation, payment for all business expenses including employee expense reimbursements.
    • Maintain effective relationships with business partners/vendors through timely and accurate payment and response to inquiries.
    • Review and compile reconciliations and any other ad hoc reporting.


  • Bachelor’s degree with Accounting or Finance focus.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • 3 years of experience in full spectrum of accounting function, preferably with a US multinational company in an EMEA wide role
  • 3 years of experience in a managerial role
  • High level of integrity and work ethics and positive attitude
  • Proven people management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and within tight timelines
  • Experience utilizing NetSuite, Expensify, ADP strongly preferred
  • Experience in technology industry preferred
